KnetixIQ Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how KnetixIQ LLC ("KnetixIQ," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information in connection with the KnetixIQ platform, including our GoHighLevel-based CRM/automation instance, LeadConnector Phone, LeadConnector connector messaging, Crew Calendar, Painter Estimator, and Commercial Takeoff Utility (collectively, the "Services").

This policy covers KnetixIQ's handling of data. Because our Platform runs on GoHighLevel infrastructure, GHL also processes data as our subprocessor under its own privacy policy, available at https://www.gohighlevel.com/privacy-policy. We encourage you to review it.

1. Whose Data This Policy Covers

Customer — the business/individual with a KnetixIQ account.
Customer Data — data Customer inputs or generates through the Services (leads, contacts, pricing, measurements, messages, calendar entries).
End Users / Contacts — Customer's own clients, leads, or crew members whose information Customer stores or contacts through the Services. Customer, not KnetixIQ, is the data controller for its Contacts' personal information; KnetixIQ acts as a processor/service provider for that data. Customer is responsible for its own legal basis and notices to its Contacts (e.g., its own client-facing privacy policy and consent practices).

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Account Information. Name, business name, email, phone, billing information, and login credentials.

2.2 Customer Data You Provide. Contacts, leads, pipeline/deal data, pricing and labor rate inputs, measurement and takeoff data, calendar/scheduling data, uploaded plans/drawings, messages, and call recordings sent or received through the Platform.

2.3 Usage and Device Data. Log data, IP address, browser/device type, and usage patterns within the Services, collected automatically.

2.4 Communications Data. Content and metadata of calls and messages sent through LeadConnector Phone and connector messaging, to the extent necessary to provide and support the Services.

3. How We Use Information

We use information to: provide, maintain, and support the Services; process payments; provide customer support; enforce these terms and detect misuse; improve and troubleshoot the Services; and comply with legal obligations (including telephony/carrier compliance requirements such as A2P 10DLC registration). We do not sell Customer Data or Contact data to third parties for their own marketing purposes.

4. Your Data Rights — Ownership and Portability

4.1 You Own Your Data. Customer Data belongs to you. KnetixIQ processes it to operate the Services on your behalf and claims no ownership interest in it.

4.2 Export Anytime. You can export or download your Customer Data at any time during your subscription using the Platform's built-in export tools, at no additional charge for standard exports (bulk/custom export formats may carry a fee if they require engineering work).

4.3 Phone Number Porting. Numbers provisioned through the Platform are yours to port to another carrier or provider at any time. We will cooperate with standard porting requests; the underlying carrier or GHL may apply its own porting timelines or fees outside our control.

4.4 Website Files. If we build you a website, you can request the delivered HTML/CSS/asset files for your specific site at any time to self-host or move providers.

4.5 Deletion. You may request deletion of your Customer Data at any time, subject to (a) data we must retain for legal, tax, or compliance reasons, and (b) a brief operational window to process the request. On termination, we retain Customer Data for 30 days to permit export before deletion, unless you request earlier deletion. Where termination follows non-payment, the notice and deletion timeline in Section 7.5 of the Terms of Service governs instead.

5. How We Share Information

We share information with:

GoHighLevel, Inc. — as the infrastructure provider underlying the Platform; GHL processes Customer Data and Contact data to deliver CRM, phone, and messaging functionality.
Telephony/messaging carriers and A2P registries — as required to deliver calls/texts and comply with carrier and regulatory requirements (e.g., The Campaign Registry for 10DLC).
Payment processors — to process billing.
Service providers — hosting, analytics, and support vendors bound by confidentiality obligations.
Legal/compliance — when required by law, subpoena, or to protect rights, safety, or property.
Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, with notice to you.

We do not share Contact data with unrelated third parties for their independent marketing use.

6. Data Security

We use commercially reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards appropriate to the sensitivity of the data. No system is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, and you should notify us promptly of any suspected unauthorized access to your account.

7. Data Retention

We retain Customer Data for as long as your account is active, plus 30 days post-termination for export (except where termination follows non-payment, in which case Section 7.5 of the Terms of Service governs), and thereafter as needed to comply with legal, tax, or dispute-resolution obligations. You may request earlier deletion per Section 4.5.

8. State Privacy Rights

Depending on where you or your Contacts reside, you may have rights under state privacy laws — including the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act (TDPSA), California's CCPA/CPRA, and similar laws in other states — such as the right to know, access, correct, delete, or opt out of certain processing of personal information. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. We will verify the request and respond within the timeframe required by applicable law.

9. Cookies and Tracking

Our marketing website uses cookies and similar tracking technologies for analytics and functionality. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

10. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for business use by adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under 18. If we learn we have, we will delete it.

11. International Data

The Services are intended for use within the United States. If you access the Services from outside the U.S., you consent to your data being processed in the U.S.

12. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 30 days before taking effect.
